Gooddings willow in periwinkle no 1

One-of-a-kind botanical monotype. 5 by 7 inches with an 8 by 10 inch red mat. Goodding’s willow is a tree native to the southwestern U.S. It is awesome at erosion control, can be found along streams and washes and lives in both desert and high desert . They provide shelter to many creatures and us humans have used for tea and baskets. Beavers use them as building materials. I think their leaves look like flames, which is why I love to print with them.
