Join me at the Sedona Arts Center to learn the basics of relief printing by carving your own stamps to decorate and personalize fabric and clothing. We’ll learn how to use carving tools, how to transfer images we want to carve onto soft blocks, and how to print our stamps onto both paper and fabric.  We’ll also experience the meditative and visual power of repetition and pattern. You don’t need to have previous printmaking or drawing skills to enjoy this workshop! All of the carving and printing materials will be provided, but you should bring fabric items that you might want to print on, such as spare tote bags or tshirts (ideally nothing you’re too attached to, since these will be for practice!).
