Come learn the basics of relief printing by carving your own stamps to decorate and personalize gift wrapping, gift tags or cards for the winter holidays!  We’ll learn how to use carving tools, how to transfer images we want to carve onto soft blocks, and how to print our stamps.  We’ll also experience the meditative and visual power of repetition and pattern.  You don’t need to have previous printmaking or drawing skills to enjoy this workshop! Maybe an adult told you when you were a child that your drawing was terrible or thought the dog you drew was a dinosaur. Maybe, like me, you never had any exposure to arts during your K-12 education.
